About Me

Hi there!

I’m Salma and I’m so grateful that you’re here.

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.

I have been teaching in Canada and abroad for over 10 years. I have taught all kinds of subjects at the elementary, middle and secondary school levels. This includes the IB program, the AP program, the GCE program, and more. I currently teach Core French in Ontario.

I have quite a few things I’m passionate about that I hope to share with you here. These include, but are not limited to my passion for teaching French, creating fun, digital and printable resources for teachers to make their lives easier, constantly working to improve and educate myself from an equity lens, and focusing on the importance of mental health and well-being.

Outside of the classroom I enjoy spending time with my little family, hiking, camping, and fishing. I absolutely love flowers and taking pictures of them (although photo creds for this one go to my sister), as well as eating all kinds of delicious foods. Getting active is one of my newest passions.

I truly hope you will enjoy what you find here and that it will benefit both you and your students in the classroom.
